"Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom" 2 Corinthians:3:17

Hey dolls,
It's been a while since I've dropped a little philosophical thinking on y'all lol. Don't worry these rants are going to be a monthly thing I promise I just have to find the inspiration.
If you are in need of a church or a place to worship check out rfmm.org. We are a prophetic ministry, we teach, preach and practice deliverance.

So a few Sundays ago I was in church siting in my usual spot listening to a guest pastor preach.
I was really enjoying the sermon, the topic was sacrifice. He talked about sacrificing to God and how beneficial it is, how it strengthens your relationship with God. It was a really touching sermon but while listening I got a word from the lord; "Liberation". At first I was being extremely slow and didn't know what it meant. As always I goggled the word and found that the definition is freedom.

It's crazy how God can speak to you at an unexpected time. Recently I've been going through enslavement. (I know you're like Woah!.. but let me explain.) I have been living in a pile of unrepented sins, repentance  have been a huge issue for me lately because I've been slacking. If I'm being honest from a sister to a sister I don't have the time to pray anymore. I could make time but it just seems hard. Anyways when I heard the word liberation and fully understood what it meant I set out to find my freedom.

I repented and started praying and started getting on track, but  guilt  seems to be the side effect of sin so of course I wallowed in pity for a bit. But I got over myself. Today's message is not really about me I just wanted to give a little background information about the topic.

When you hear liberation, what do you think? I think of Jesus.  As John 8:36says  "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."
The bible makes us understand that Jesus is the only way to God, he is the only way and through him is freedom (Liberation). There is no way around it, he is the only way. We all want good things in life; success, prosperity, happiness etc.. All that can be found in christ. Jesus is sufficient for everyone and he won't start something he can not complete, in other words he can not bring you this far just to leave you. He said cast your burdens unto to me, he can not be willing to carry your shame, disgrace, pain, reproach, rejection, failure, backwardness... if he didn't care for you. One of the single most things we as  Christians do is to hide our problems from God as if he doesn't know. God knows everything and he's a gentleman he's not the kind to be in your business unless you invite him.

God is able to take away your pain, your problems, and everything that is bothering you if you can just trust him with your problems. Stop treating him as if he's an unfair father. He is there for you if you are willing to give him your all, God doesn't accept partial he wants it all. And liberation comes when you give him you all, after all he died on the cross for this very reason. No need to be ashamed come to Christ as you are and be liberated.

I'm not much of a philosopher or anything of that nature, I'm just a thinker, a really deep thinker.  This is the easiest way I can share my thoughts with you all. Thanks for reading if you have a question or suggestion on what my next rant should be about please feel free to email me @simplyjaelicousfashion@gmail.com. I'm always open to suggestions.

that's all for now, until next time stay Fabu_lous!
